I do believe that there are a lot of factors existing that kill a relationship.
First of all, I do think, that honesty really is a main factor of a properly working relationship, but I do also think that there are things partners should not be too honest about, above all things that cause too much jealousy and envy. Envy is a killing curse for a relationship.
Friendships with an 'Ex'-Partner is absolutely not working in a relationship, not if the partner really is honest. Because who really wants to part love with someone who had this love before, in ore ways than just one?

I agree. Honesty is the biggest factor definitely. It's really disappointing when your partner says something and you'll find out that it's just a lie. Whether the issue is a small or a big thing, you will feel disappointed because of the fact that your partner lied. You would have a lot of presumptions after such things happen because it would only mean that your partner is hiding something. Otherwise, why lie?

hmmmm...the no friends with ex partners is a strange one- i'm friends with all my exes and my fiance doesn't care at all....
