i think it doesn't have to be, but i assume at some point in time during life age differences may prove difficult to overcome.. but like if the male was 1-3 years older wouldn't mean much i think.. i really like that new dp soho babi! :)
Honesty & Communication are the keys of successful relationships. Insecurities and lack of trust can all be cured if both parties can openly discuss any situation how big or small it may be, in a calm, understanding and respectful manner. A healthy relationship needs both people to nurture and re-assure the other until their insecurities leave and their partner feels secure again. There are many many traits that are neccessary to have a strong relationship - relationships are very complex.
But one trait thats an awful barrier to having a strong relationship is when either or both people are always feeling like they need to have the upper hand, never backing down - people that are immune to humility.
Also - Its disgusting when people in relationships feed their partners insecurities - Purposely do or say things to make the other jealous.

And age is irrelevant - maturity levels is what the issue really is. Just in most cases maturity comes with age.

Insecurity (i,e keep tabs on you 24/7)

sadly i had to endure him snoring like no-man's business...his response....gal i was juss singing through ma nose...(hmmmm..wonder wat Simon Cowell would have said on his solo perfomance)
