I'm not really a label snob but designer jeans have been doing wonders for many reasons.
Here are a selected few personal ready-to-wear reviews from jeans in my collection.
Morrissey (Australian Designer)
Likes: These jeans are one of the most comfortable jeans I've ever worn. The fabric is soft and gentle and fits perfectly.
Dislikes: Although it's quite generic looking, that is it's flaw. There isn't anything unique about them which can make an outfit look daggy. The fabric is soft but it's durability lifetime is low i.e. frays/split ends and colour fades ungracefully.
Versace Jeans Couture
Unique basic elements of buttons and cuts. Fabric is durable and looks crisp and vibrant. It looks amazing! It tends to match a more youthful and smart casual outfit.
Nobody Jeans
The indigo colour is perhaps the best hue of indigo blue denim I've ever seen. (Yep, I'm THAT fussy!)
Calibre and Saba (Australian Designer Labels)
I put these together since they are quite similar.
Fabric is amazing and unique; they have a metallic look. They make denim look more dressier and youthful at the same time. It's one of the more classic looking jeans that is versatile when working with a casual or dressier outfit.
I blog for denimology and began doing denim reviews in December of many brands. My favorite are the designer collaborations like J Brand and Hussein Chalayan you get a fantastic denim (and the experience of the brand) with a designers touch. I love Frankie B. Jeans, Work Custom Jeans and I agree Nobody Jeans have amazing denim.
