Hello fellow fashionisers, I really want to get started as a fashion photographer, I will finnish my studies in communications and advertising in december and want to become a fashion photographer. I recently bought a nikon D80 and have been working with it, but I don't know many techniques. What do you think is the best way to start as a photographer? what schools, masters or courses do you recommend me taking and where? I would really like to learn all the techniques because I have many ideas in my head I just don`t know how to execute them ... I'd love to work for a while as an assistant to a photographer to start learning the ropes, but I also feel like I need professional education.

That's almost a year long so you have probably found your way, but, nevertheless, all the information you need is freely availably on the net, as well as in books (search for the series of ROTOVISION). Hence, the question rising is, How much time can you invest? Many of the great photographers have no photography degree although this can be a really quick start-off...
