hey guys, a friend is overseas so i am getting her to pick me up a bag while she is there. I want to get a nice big oversized black bag, i am thinking patent leather. My marc jacobs stam is just rediculously heavy so i would like something to alternate between on a daily basis but particularly going out wise. I like that one that Lindsay was pictured with? I need to e-mail through to my friend asap though, so whats everyone picks? Should I go patent? I was thinking the oversized balencigia but i am not sure??? Please help... too much money to go to waste here!

I really much prefer normal leather and you have to be much more careful with patent leather to ensure it doesn't look fake and/or tacky as there are a lot of fake vinyl/PVC ones out there!

brilliant thank you guys! i e-mailed her through a big list... just waiting to hear back form her now! i do agree with patent leather being slightly high maintenance... but it can look so pretty!
