hey guys,

whats everyones opinion of this trend? i went shopping yesterday and tried on a gorgeous light blue denim Lover highwaisted skirt... but i am just a bit unsure... i guess its the 90's playing havoc in my head. I just dont know whether they will last through to next winter.

also i found a pair of 'life is a bird' black boots with the wooden stacked sole... i can only buy one or the other as i am on a tight budget... PLEASE HELP!!!

I think high waisted skirts are definitely hot on the right figure, but it can need the balance of showing a bit more leg to make up for the waist.

But it's a tough call between the two - do you have a photo of either?

boots over skirt! mainly because the high waist has been here for a while and nto sure how long it will last...

i can not find a picture of the love denim skirt anywhere... i am leaning towards the boots i think... they are different and i live in my boots in winter... well really all year round depending on where i am and what i am doing... the girls in the shop said the skirt though so now I am very very confused!

what do you think of the boot??

Those boots are pretty damn cool. Are you thinking of wearing them with the leather folds up or down?

love boots. they are versatile, they will last you longer and they look hot :) the girls in the shop's job is to sell stuff :P

Its not a skirt but i aw this awful skinny, knock kneed girl the other day wearing a pair of light denim high wasted shorts by Bettina Liano(should i say anymore). They were awful, hugely baggy around her stick thin legs and that high she could have used them as a suppor bra. Im all one for change in fashion and embrace it, but truely this was a disaster. I should have taken a pic for you Daniel for ur street smart project. And to top off the look she had these natural seagrass clogs on that just emphasised her toes gripping on for dear life. All in all, TRAGIC.
