i need a haircut.

Posted: 03.02.2008 at 18.30
My hair is about an inch past my collarbone when straight. It's naturally VERY curly but I always wear it straight. I've had a medium lengthed bob which I liked, and a face frame. It's growing out in the most horrible way, my bangs are all over the place and it looks really crappy. What should I do to it? Also, my most trusted hairstylist just moved to Detroit, so I want to get something fairly easy so the new person won't screw it up. HELP!

hey there,
I work for Rokk ebony, we can give you one of the best consultations face to face complimentary. It's difficult to advise on hairstyles via computor, but should you visit us we can assess your hair/personality and style, as each person is individual as is each consultation. i am currently in South Africa, and will be back the end of February. I work @ Rokk Ebony 64 Kingsway, Glen Waverly, but will be transferred to the new salon in Toorak once it's open and running(exciting news)
Hope this helped you a bit,
Candyce

Do any of 2008's hair trends take your fancy?

If you're worried about the new hair stylist, the best thing for you to do is take in a photo (either of yourself or of a person who has the hairstyle you want) and ask the hairstylist to mimic it, maybe adding in an alteration or two (e.g.: shorter here, longer here, etc.)

A good hairstylist can work off a photo. If the style you described suits you and you like it and you're happy to have it again, take a photo in and work off that; at least you know that looks good, therefore it's less of a risk. If you are worried about the new hairstylist, stick to a style you know and you'll be able to judge their performance because you have previous experience with that style to compare it to.

However, no-one ever said you shouldn't take a risk!

Hope this helps! If you need any hairdresser recommendations I know a few fantastic ones who I've know for years who will listen to you and can work off photos.

Hi latashamj,

I believe one should choose hairstyle according to ones face shape and personality..

From your snap, I find your face Diamond shaped..You can wear short hairstyles, medium hairstyles and long hairstyles and look absolutely gorgeous. Examples of this include celebrities such as Sophia Loren, Katherine Hepburn, and Linda Evangelista.

You said you have curly hairs...Here are some tips and tricks to manage/control your curly hairs..

Hope this helps...

Shreya.

hmmm... i just cut all of my hair off again... went a bit too short this time and am really not liking it. BUT the reality is that it is just hair and it grows back, therefore we can be as experimental as we brave!
