my best friend wants me to go over in feb with him. it isnt somewhere i have ever really considerd until recently, as I am a real summer holiday girl... lying on the beacj drinking cocktails and shopping... hence why i love thailand. but i have heard alot of good things about new york recently, and james was there in feb and really wants to go back. I am thinking about going... how much spending money do you recomend me taking over for a week? Any thoughts, cheap but nice accom... any info would be great!?

I would take a few K...probably $10K...I would also stay somewhere lush to get the full experience. I know people say 'but ur not in ur hotel room' but if you're anything like me ur hotel will make or break the vacation!

normally i would stay somewhere top of the line, but if i decide to go in feb i wont have the funds to stay somewhere lush... so it will just need to be somewhere nice! how long r u going for ruru? where r u staying? so confused... I dont like the idea of holidaying in the cold... maybe i am just being a bit princess like... hmmmm?

i'm going for maybe 4 days? no clue where we are staying- should probably book that soon :P, but i do have my lovely cousins credit card as well :P he is taking us down from here. I agree with soho, me and my sister always spend up on the hotel room, but i guess it depends what ur there for! I hate the cold as well! BUT it could be fun? i'll give you more details when i know whats goin on
