Unfortunately I don't know any artistic photographers in VIC. :(

Suggest you sign up with one of the free online model portfolio sites and search though some of the profiles for photographers in your area. Most of the photographers would be willing to shoot with you for free to help you with building your portfolio.

Another avenue is to contact agencies you know are reputable and ask them who they use to shoot their model books. Then you can contact those photographers and discuss their rates.

All models are given one here.

If you're after photographers in Victoria, search for them on Fashionising and ask if any of them are interested in working with you :)

Hey Kaz, as suggested search fashionising as there are a couple of us but I'm not to sure of Danica's advice. Good luck in finding a pro photographer that will shoot you for free, maybe she's talking about finding a beginner?.

Depends on your negotiating skills ;) Some photographers will shoot you for 'nothing' because they believe you might bring something to their portfolio.

On the other hand, of the pictures I have had done have been with 'beginners' I've gotten some pretty darn good shots out of them. Yes, it's a chance, but its a place most girls start.

I was going to check Kaz's height but I'm stuck in an infinite loop of double post horror. So unless she is a 5'10" glamazon the chances of her getting signed or getting paid are pretty slim. As bad as the penny tastes, most of us have to beg, cheat and steal to get a book together ;)
