This is going to sound strange but I have been living by "the secret" for as long as I can remember, maybe even since I was about 11.

I always visualised my success, Visualised a puppy dog (and got one eventually), visualised making it into state soccer teams & rep teams, visualised coming in the top 3 when I was a dancer (came 2nd), to just give a few examples.


It does happen. Every single time I was focused & visualised my business succeeding, I met all the right people, the moment I lost my focus...I met no one useful to me.

So when I heard about this "way of thinking" that everyone is now adopting I just thought it was strange that I have been doing it my whole life.


Does anyone use the tools of the secret for their day to day activities or to help them build their future in their head?

I do believe it can work... and that's it's not a new concept, but has been around forever it's just that someone has now managed to market it in a mass-consumed and mass-fad kind of way.

It's hard when you're innately a pessimist, but positive thinking does seem to work wonders!

I agree with Tania's comment on it being a lot about successful marketing.
I think that a lot of people (particularly successful people) have been incorporating this into their lives for a long time.

I believe this is the key attribute of a successful person. If you don't see yourself at the top, it will never happen.

Adriana I believe it can definately work. I also have used it throughout my life but more in terms of the people I want to attract into my life.

I've always believed that emitting a positive vibe attracts positive people and emitting a negative vibe attracts people who feed of negativity and in that way your life begins to take shape.

I am only now I suppose seeing how it can work in other aspects of life and success aswell though.

totally totally believe in it. I have done 2 massive personal development courses that incorportae the secret and quantum physics. Those 2 courses were the best things i could have ever done for myself and have definitly changed my life in a way I would have never imagined!

What was the quantum physics side of things Corrine? That sounds damn interesting! Where did you do these courses?

I haven't seen this secret video but it sounds like what I've been practising my whole life.

hey dpd it is a course called 'relationships and you' and then the second course is 'letting it go' they are unlievable. my mum has gone on to do the 3rd course as well but it isnt the right timing for me to do that one.
