You know I don't mind the strap, balances the purple, though might be weird being almost flesh tone on bare legs... I might be over thinking it. Courtney with such hot shoes, your dress needs more omph. I may be way out of line, missed the ball etc but I'd go all out with a gold tulle skirt underneath to really make it flare and do a rather serious belt under the bust to cover the tie. Think 50s silhouette.
