I assume everyone agrees that the gym is not an excuse to look trashy, so I'm curious to know what everyone finds acceptable fitness attire.

I have to admit I bum down pretty badly for the gym, or on my daily walks, usually a pair of adidas trackies and tee

I can never quite decide what is the worse crime: to throw sense of fashion out the window all together when going to the gym or doing the opposite and wearing 2 inches of foundation and lipstick (why??)!
I'm happy to wear something simple and comfortable, as long as it's flattering. I.e. no oversized tracksuits. I quite like Stella McCartney's sportswear designs; for something a little cheaper I usually go with Bonds.

I tend to stick with American Apparel. It's inexpensive and so comfy. Plus, it's in all solids so it's easy to coordinate.

I wear Stella McCartney for adidas on my daily runs. I just can't bring myself to chuck on any old trackies.

Check out www.blackandblue.com.au...some very funky sports clothing, great fits. Bont is also a brand of choice, they are really getting their name out now.

board shorts and a Bonds t-shirt.
Not too dressed up, but still a nice fit & comfortable..
I agree with Jase, Bont has some great stuff.
Cotton ppl, cotton. MEN SHOULD NEVER BE SEEN IN LYCRA ON ANY ACCOUNT!!! LOL
I even put little sorts on over my bike shorts in my Spin class...

shorts and a singlet, sometimes leggings. if your really there to work out the make-up won't last long anyway. brands etc dont matter as long as its comfy and not daggy :P oh and a really good sports bra- bounce is bad for you ladies!
