I'm nowhere near fat, and I'm nowhere near skinny, but why why why does the newest cuts to jeans seem to forget that some girls have these things called thighs and hips? the waists are 4 inches too big and the hip/butt area is at least an inch too tight. >.o
is this justified? or actually wearable? (one would assume that most designers would know that most women have smaller waists then they do hips.)

What labels are we talking about lilmissmaya, and in what style? I have only found this with one pair, my skinny stretch Roger Grinsteads. Jeans are notoriously difficult to find in the perfect fit for one's body - have you tried Karen Walker?

generally, most jeans i wear are too big on the waist because i have a tiny waist! I think its because the most common body shape is one with a larger waist?

I tried on a pair of Ralph Lauren black skinny jeans the other day... they were this really cool non-stretch fabric and I couldn't get them over my calves!!!!! :( First time I've ever had that problem... they were cut so tiny. The next size up fit on the legs, but was too big on the waist. I was devastated, because they were 20% off that day.

Jeans alterations start from $20 - sometimes if you just need the back seem taken in its a quick and easy job to do. (Ie if the fit is fine everywhere except your waist)

I gave up on jeans about a year ago. I just had enough of searching for them

I just wear pants now. I think it was probably more frustrating for me because of the more pleasant experiences of los angeles. the place to be for denim

Try Fashion Bug jeans...or go to American Eagle...I love their jeans...they're always a perfect fit...you could also try Hollister...they have great jeans also!
