what things will be essential this winter, i want to know from shoes to accessories clothing hair the works.

shoes:
flat boots
ankle heeled boots
heeled high boots
ballet flats, point flats and loafers (i am a sucker for sexy loafers the preppy in me again)

pants:
depending on your height and style some nice tailored high waisted pants
skinny jeans
straight leg jeans

tops:
knits
t's long and short sleeved (short; layer under snuggly sexy cardys)

dresses:
anything you can wear with leggings or tights, the pinafore is still hot too.

stockings and leggings are definitly still hot. just depends on your body shape and style to how you wear them. People without thin legs should mainly only wear them with heels as with some outfits and shoes they can shorten the leg length.

belts are a definite

jewlery seems to be alot more understated this season, quite classy and with one major point of focus so a dramatic necklace with simple earings and bracelts or bangles, or dramatic earings and bracelts/bangles.

thats all i can think of right now...

what about a few winter must haves for the male..... don't leave us out we have to look nice too u know

For myself:
Shoes: boots (flat, knee high, ankle) & flats (still loving ballets)
Clothes:
Fitted jumpers, long oversized cardies, knit dresses (pinnys, smocks, etc) combined with stockings & leggings.
Skinny jeans & Straight legs, (its âInâ to wear high waisted but I havenât gotten into this trend myself)
Jackets: gorgeous fitted coats, cropped swing jackets (although again, never really got into this trend)..and cute capes..i just got a gorgeous gray one I absolutely loveee.

I hate winter :( But the clothes this season are making up for it!
I really love those smock tops/dresses, but read a really bad write-up in SMH about how unflattering they are - I think if worn correctly, with something skinny on the bottom (tights, leggings, jeans) they look hot.
I found a fabulous red trench-type coat at an oppy last year that I still love.
Do you guys think the men's white shirt - belted with tights - looks a bit trashy btw?

I love the over-sized man's shirt look! i think it has to be worn carefully, i see alot of girls around town wearing it with no leggings/tights and they look really trashy! you just have to be careful to keep it classy!! xx I think the baby doll style tops are going to stay for a while, they are so easy to get hold of and in a huge variety of colours! xx

I love getting rugged up in Winter because theres so much that one can layer one fabric over another. I think a while ago, Winter used to be so boring to dress up in. Here is my list of "must haves" for winter:

* Everyone needs a simple scarf that can be worn most days during the winter
* A simple wool or wool-blend sweater
* Black or brown ankle boots, heeled ones look better but flats are more confortable. (I'm currently on a mission for a pair of good-looking black heeled ankle boots)
* Hair mask is required for dry hair
* Lip balm for dry lips
* Black simple gloves/mittens (Mittins are cute but I prefer gloves)
* Plain black or lacey designed stockings are HOT this winter
* A reliable moisturiser for face, hands and body
* Blush
* Warm and pretty pyjamas

Its feels strange that you guys are talking about winter clothes when im still waiting for summer!! Im shopping for shorts skirts and dresses and you're talking about sweaters and jumpers! eeeekk :) x
