How to get Proenza Schouler's beach hair: NYFW

Written by Tania Braukamper

Part bed-hair, part beach-hair, the models at Proenza Schouler's Spring/Summer 2010 runway show had the sort of tousled and sexy locks every girl wishes she could just wake up with.

Didier Malige, lead stylist for Frederic Fekkai, shares how he created the New York Fashion Week look:

Proenza Schouler bed hair

Hair was prepped with Fekkai Beachcomber Leave-in Conditioner and then spritzed with Fekkai Coiff Oceanique Tousled Wave Spray. Malige finished the look by pulling Fekkai Coiff Magnifique Ultra-Light Finishing Creme through the hair with his fingers.

There aren't too many alpha-females out there and, though she might deny it, Tania Braukamper certainly exudes their qualities. A keen eye, a focused approach, and a wardrobe spanning three rooms have made her one of the savviest of dressers. But it's not all couture for Tania, earning her fashionista credentials she'll frequently be seen on the town in a one-off, vintage dress and a pair of Gucci heels.

She says: Vintage will never go out of style
We say: Does that include vintage 80s?
