Dutch model Iekeliene Stange debuted a new hairstyle at New York Fashion Week this week: flowing peroxide blonde locks, a colour we'd tipped as a major hair trend for 2009.

Fans of Iekeliene and her quirky sense of style may be shocked by the change from brunette to peroxide blonde; but we're sure you'll quickly grow fond of her striking new colour, which sets her apart from the pack.

We'll be seeing plenty more of Iekeliene on the Women's Autumn (Fall)/Winter 2009-2010 runways, so stay tuned.
