Kate Moss platinum blond for i-D magazine

Hypermodel Kate Moss is looking decidedly hot on the November 2007 cover of i-D magazine, having been given an edgy platinum blonde, shoulder-length bob and dark smoky eyes. Can you say 2008 hair trends?

Of course, and Moss is showing off three hair trends for 2008: the fringe, the bob, and platinum blonde hair colour.

We’re also thinking there’s a trend to be found in Moss’ capelet. We did wonder if the black lace bolero / capelet she’s wearing is the same one she wore to Glastonbury festival earlier in 2007. Seems we weren’t the only ones to notice – Flypaper were asking the same question. So to further explore this mystery we put them side by side, where you can see that the detail is slightly different between the two. Two different capelets from Kate Moss? Expect them to hit the high street soon.

2008 Fashion Trend Update

Hair trends wouldn’t be enough from Kate Moss would they? While looking back over this photoshoot we couldn’t help notice that Moss is wearing the see-through fashion trend, one of the key fashion trends in 2008.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
