Divide your hair into sections. Layer it with an ironing spray and a root lifting spray so you will be able to blow it out straight until it is completely dry, without damaging it but keeping plenty of volume. Remember to spread the products evenly on your hair for a better outcome.
Using a 1 inch curling iron, start curling sections of your hair. For better hold, you can spray each section with a working spray before you start curling (the team at Carlos Miele used Redken Fashion Work 12 Versatile Working Spray). You want to avoid ridges at the end of each curl so always continue right to the end with the wand.
Take each curl, wind it up and pin it to the head. Keep the curls pinned up for a few minutes to lock in their shape.
Let your hair down and brush it out a little bit to create soft, glamorous waves. Part your hair to the side, keeping the bigger section sweeping over one eye, to complete the look.
