In runway shows, we simply can’t understate the importance of the hairstyle that the collection is presented with. It’s the task of expert hairstylists to create looks that will not only go well with the clothes but also be one with the designer’s vision. Redken’s Guido Palau was the one tasked with creating a spring 2014 hairstyle for the Jil Sander show.
Taking inspiration from the designer herself, Guido went for a look that’s modern and minimalist. It features a low ponytail with a few strands loosened around the models face giving it a polished look with some soft texture. This sophisticated look is exactly what a Jil Sander woman would wear and you can do this all by yourself – check out the tutorial after the break.
