Sparkling in head-to-toe Gucci at the Tokyo Premiere of her new film G.I Joe: The Rise Of The Cobra, Sienna Miller turned heads; not just for her outfit, but her roughly textured ponytail. This is a pretty easy one to try at home. Adir Abergel for Frederic Fekkai explains how he made Sienna's hair look so effortless and yet so dramatic:
Here's an adorable example of milkmaid braids; a 2009 hair trend that we don't quite see enough of on the street. This snap was taken in Reykjavik, part of a set of Iceland street style photos by Face Hunter.

Jessica Alba has the great fortune of a mocha complexion that suits either light or dark hair colours. She stepped out a few days ago in a pair of ripped jeans, sporting a new blonde hairstyle. But while peroxide blonde has been a hair trend in 2009, Alba's shade is more a natural blonde that won't quickly date.
If you were a fan of Megan Fox's beachy, textured hairstyle at the LA premiere of Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, then you might like to give it a go yourself. Hair stylist Renato Campora for Frederic Fekkai explains how to achieve the look:

One of the things that I dearly love about 2009 fashion is the constant revitalisation of classic motifs; a revitalisation that is also apparent in this year's women's hair trends. Thus, if you'll permit me, may I present you with a visual treat that personifies the year's 1940s hairstyle come-back.
It wasn't that long ago that Lily Allen's blonde wig caught our eye; but as quick as it had come the singer was back to her usual dark bob. Come Glastonbury 2009, however, the wigs have been back in force.
When she's not too busy attacking them, Lily Allen knows how to work the cameras. There are the topless pictures, the oh-so-cute headbands, the stunningly risque sheer pieces, and the new hair styles. Today it seems that the British singer has managed to combine a few of these for a look sure to turn heads.
For those so inclined I'd wager that you haven't event noticed David Beckham's hair, or that if you have it's the barely-there gift from puberty and not that which adorns his head that has caught your eye. Never-the-less, while providing eye-candy to a fair share of the audience it is my solemn duty to point out Beckham's slick crop fits perfectly with current men's hair trends.

I can honestly say that I didn't see that one coming. With Kristen Stewart's new hair style pulled back it was easy to assume that the new style was a bob. But not so. In these first pictures of Stewart's hair being worn out you can see that a hotly anticipated hair cut transpires to be a bedraggled mullet.
A mere matter of days ago we were marvelling at Kristen Stewart's thigh-high boots and an utterly-sexy hair style. Alas, it seems the latter is gone as the actress has cut-off her normally long locks, and gone for a hair style that I suspect will transpire to be a bob.
