I am a creative with a lot of experience in a number of areas. During the past two years, I have found my real passion lies with photography and graphic design. I am self-taught in ALL that I do. I have an appreciation and clear understanding of shape, form and colour. This is natural to me and always has been. Working with models, light, shadow, silhouette, texture, etc are all part of the creativity. I love working with makeup artistes, hair stylists and wardrobe stylists where possible, as staging/creating a composition is what the capture is all about. I have a very creative and open-minded approach and like to experiment with primitive methods. Natural and alternative lighting methods are preferred and I play about with the lighting constantly during a shoot. I favour a raw, gritty and contemporary look, but my style has changed, often much more stylised to fashion. I am skilled in Photoshop and Illustrator.

My Style

Generally, I work with models to produce contemporary portfolios and in a nutshell, I guess I am a contemporary portrait photographer of fashion, people and lifestyle. I often promote bar and club events and work with unsigned bands/artistes. I used to work as an events manager and am very PR savvy. Music is a great passion of mine and from 1990-2007 I was also a house music dj (the good stuff!) and also got into funk/r&b/urban in the late 90s. I gave this up last year to focus on photography and moving to London. My love for music is still strong and I would really like to break into sleeve design/photography.
