2008 Best Dressed Woman: Vote Now

Written by Daniel P Dykes

As we pick-apart the year of fashion that was 2008 we've wanted your input. When we look back in a decade at the fashion that made up this year, who and what is it that ought to be remembered? Thus, we've asked you to help us name this year's 'it' girl; and now we'd like your help in naming this 2008's best dressed woman.

Who do you think it is? Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes have easily been the most talked about, but does Victoria's over-styled image or Katie's frequent misses take them out of contention? What about the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Mischa Barton who both, inarguably, displayed something akin to a comeback? Or perhaps it's none of the suggestions, in which case simply click 'other' and choose your own.

Traditionalist and futurist are two of the labels applied to Daniel, but he sees the two as being in perfect balance. With a keen eye on the future and his finger on the pulse he helps keep fashionisers everywhere ahead in the fashion stakes as Fashionising.com's lead fashion trend analyst. Believing that the late-2000s credit crisis will be ultimately good for fashion, Daniel sees a future for fashion where grounded in traditional values; where luxury fashion again comes to represent quality production as opposed to being solely label driven.
