As we pick-apart the year of fashion that was 2008 we’ve wanted your input. When we look back in a decade at the fashion that made up this year, who and what is it that ought to be remembered? Thus, we’ve asked you to help us name this year’s ‘it’ girl; and now we’d like your help in naming this 2008′s best dressed woman.

Who do you think it is? Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes have easily been the most talked about, but does Victoria’s over-styled image or Katie’s frequent misses take them out of contention? What about the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Mischa Barton who both, inarguably, displayed something akin to a comeback? Or perhaps it’s none of the suggestions, in which case simply click ‘other’ and choose your own.

Late one Oxford night Daniel P Dykes set about creating a fashion publication that would go someway to being an arbiter on fashion as it appeals to the emerging power generations: those who don't remember a world without the Internet and for whom work plays second fiddle to pleasure. And so Fashionising.com was born as a publication for those who were focussed not just on fashion's trends, but on society's too, and how those trends could all go to heighten the art of living. Hence, Daniel sees a future where, for those young at heart, both fashion and style are grounded in traditional quality, but with a youthful, sensualised edge. Daniel is Fashionising.com's Editor in Chief and Chairman.
