We have an affinity for good infographics here at the Fashionising.com office, so when our attention was captured by one describing a history of fashion trends as silhouettes we knew you’d enjoy it too.

So what do we think will happen beyond the end of the chart? It’s all a little bit of history repeating: being right now in the tail end of a seventies revival, we expect to creep back to those later sixties and potentially the roaring twenties in coming seasons.

This inspired information comes via retrogasm.

Interesting article. I don't know what will come but I know that according to this my designs are a mix of the 1900 and '78 with a touch of '58 and '30 and ending with a tiny bit of '67. Hopefully I will be able to have my own presentation someday but 'till then they will be only on paper.

i haven't gotten as far as trend forecasting yet, but i think it may either be eighties, or twenties.
