It was way back in 2007 that I first wrote about April 77 in our then regular daily desires column. Eventually I even got my hands on a few pairs of the jeans and they were a very high quality product, which is why I’m so saddened to report today that the label will be closing down and no new product will be delivered to buyers. Even though April 77 never gained world wide popularity they will definitely be missed in the indie scene.
