On Wednesday, Darren from the ever-insightful Problogger organised a meetup for Melbourne’s bloggers.

The range of blog topics we encountered was more vast than I would have imagined, from astronomy to food to photography and much more in between. Among those there were Zack, Geoff, Ed, Jon, Wilson, William, Karen, resident Fashioniser Gala Darling, Kirrily, Gath and John from CraigHarper.com.

One of the best things is conversing with people who, normally, you’d appear to have nothing in common with. And before you know it, you find more than blogging in common.

To our delight, Ed and Geoff have even joined us as Fashionisers. It looks like Darren’s blogger meet will be a regular thing, so bloggers in or around Melbourne stay tuned for the next one and we may just see you there!

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
