DKNY & City Harvest campaign to fight hunger

Written by Ren

The economic crisis has encroached on many elements of our lives but as the old adage goes, every cloud has a silver lining. Some organisations are now using their energy to help those who have been unable to weather the storm.

Fashion power house DKNY has teamed up with City Harvest - a food rescue organization dedicated to feeding the hungry - and together they're raising money for emergency food supplies. DKNY has painted a fleet of City Harvest trucks in colours from their Autumn(Fall)/Winter 2009 ad campaign. Fans of DKNY and City Harvest on Facebook are encouraged to take a photo of one of the trucks and upload the image to the City Harvest fan album. For each photo uploaded, DKNY will make a $1 donation to City Harvest.
