You might remember that guy, you know Hedi Slimane. I think he may have recently left somewhere-or-other and has done some photography work. More seriously; the man who was responsible for turning Karl Largefeld from Pillsbury Doughboy into the skinny man may be heading back to the design side of things, if the right project comes along. WWD says;
In an interview, the former Dior Homme designer was candid about his desire to return to the fashion world. "Of course," he said. "But it has to be right, the right project."
"I didn't want to deal with that for a while, but now [over the last] six months I'm considering options," Slimane said, adding that he has held talks with others about starting his own label. But the designer went no further in terms of details. "It's a secret," he laughed.

Since leaving Dior Homme, Hedi has spent his time working on photography - he's just shot the début cover for Vogue Hommes Japan and finished his photographic book project Rock Diary, which will be available this month in Japan and the United States.
So here's hoping that the "right" project comes along soon.

It's left to Allan to bring the street look to Fashionising.com. It's simply his scene, and, let's face it, his tastes in high-top Nikes will never be shared by the rest of us. Marrying colourful bright colours with awfully tight skinny jeans has become a trademark look for him, and shows the true nature of fashion trend divergence we're always blogging about. Always beating the pavements of some inner-city hub look to Allan for upcoming street trends that may end up mainstream sooner then you think.He says: Beware of neon. We say: Why do you wear it then?
