Christies will be auctioning off part of the the private collection of Gert Elfering, in who's collection resides prints from such greats as legendary photographer Horst P. Horst, Helmut Newton, Avedon, Man Ray, Robert Mapplethorpe, Guy Bourdin, Cindy Sherman and Diane Arbus.
The auction will consist of 135 lots and will include Brigitte Bardot, Lauren Hutton, jewellery designer Elsa Peretti and the Beatles (hopefully not nude), amongst the aforementioned supermodels. The full collection is expected to raise more then three million dollars with shots of Kate and Giselle raising around $30,000 - $40,000 each.
So really it's time to crack open the piggy bank.
