When you find yourself in the vast expanse of clothing and accessories that is Fashion Exposed, odds are you’ll want a little hint or two of who to look out for. Well here’s one recommendation: Sydney 2011 will see jewellery label Afterglow set up camp at the three-day fair.

Winner of the accessories category at last year’s Debut competition at the Melbourne fair, Afterglow wowed the judges with their statement pieces comprised of fairytale motifs and exaggerated strands of beads.

Part of the Debut prize is a stand at the subsequent fair, meaning media and buyers alike will be able to hunt down Afterglow and view their beautifully crafted wares in person.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
