Get your designs showcased as a part of a fashion parade is often prohibitively expensive, but an opportunity has arisen for fashion designers and labels to take part in a charity fashion parade in May.

The fashion parade will raise money for the not-for-profit charity organisation ASK – Australians Supporting Kids. All the proceeds from the night will go directly to orphans in Brazil.

There will also be a charity auction held on the night, and designers will be given the option of taking part in it.

This is sure to be a fantastic night, with full photo coverage of the parades going up in Rogue’s Lifestyle Blog and in the Fashion Diary.

The show will be held on 9th May 2007 at the Copa Cabana in Fitzroy, Victoria. If you’re interested in putting your designs forward for the night, please contact Tania and she’ll pass the details on to the organisers of the event for you.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
