Still a rumour: PPR is lusting after Burberry

Looks like we weren’t the only ones blown away by Burberry‘s Fall 2010 Collection.

Rumours are filtering in that fashion giant PPR is looking to add another fashion powerhouse to it’s already impressive stable. Burberry though will not come cheaply – at current estimates the British stalwart carries an impressive valuation of $5.7 billion dollars. Though with brands like Gucci, Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent & Alexander McQueen already under it’s wing, PPR may just have the cash to do it.
