The arrival of a new year of fashion and the arrival of the Pirelli calendar always go hand in hand; no small achievement for a tyre brand. But our attention this year shan’t be solely focussed on Karl Lagerfeld’s 2011 Pirelli calendar but also on a documentary that shall chart the history of the calendar from 1964 through to last year’s edition.
The Pirelli calendar becomes a film: its history, from 1964 to 2010, to be told for the first time in the documentary ‘The saga of the Pirelli calendar‘ created by Emmanuel Le Ber. It will be broadcast 13 November on the French TV channel Paris Premiere.
