When there’s a red carpet, flickering candles, champagne and a handsome boy with a guitar, you know romance and serenading is involved. But when you see diamonds in a turquoise blue box with a flawless white ribbon bow, you know you’re being guided towards love. To celebrate love on a chilly, windy night in Sydney, the Tiffany & Co. flagship store hosted the official launch of their latest web present What Makes Love True and corresponding iPhone and iPad applications. Love in the 21st Century, it would seem.
The atmosphere couldn’t have been more fitting to make one believe in undying love. American songwriter, Joshua Radin, further helped the crowd reminisce with a special in-store concert. He’s also the man with the magical vocals in the new Tiffany & Co advertisement, singing an exclusive rendition of a classic love song, The first, the last, my everything.
With everything going digital, Tiffany made sure ‘love’ didn’t suffer. For decades, the brand has been moulding relationships through their fine jewellery, but with this new go-to guide they aim to poke the romance bubble and see it spread like wild fire. It gives a chance to explore the fabled version of New York City where falling in love is almost a prerequisite. Even if you haven’t been to privy to that New York, its enthralling vibe whispers through the mere mention of the city. The most beautiful feature (must look) is a short film created exclusively for Tiffany by filmmaker Edward Burns. From the most romantic getaways to handy love tips for men, this website touches all areas of love. Whether you’re a newbie or a retired expert, Tiffany’s new venture is making sure that everyone in the world embraces every aspect of love, just like they do. No more excuses, no more ignorance, and certainly no more hating – love has well and truly taken over Tiffany & Co., New York City and your nearest computer screen.
