Managing to impress wherever she is to be found, Kate Moss has ruled style spy's fashion trend chart this week. Unsurprising really, given the Kate Moss for TopShop collection is just around the corner.

"You should be true to yourself in the clothes you wear"
In the last two decades, French-born fashion designer Nicole Farhi has emerged as one of the leading designer names in the United Kingdom. A unique blend of easy, but functional tailoring with luxurious, desirables separates and accessories has created a loyal following for her across with many of the fashion elites of the UK, US, and Japan, and increasingly throughout the world.
Nicole's career began in Paris where she worked as a freelance fashion designer, but before long she moved to London in the 1970's where she worked with the likes Stephen Marks, owner of the then-little-known label French Connection.
More than a shoe designer, Gil Carvalho has the ability to mix architectural concepts, cutting edge materials, and a brilliant creativity, to make the jump into the visionary future of fashion.

His work is excellent not only for is top quality but especially for his persistence, a willingness to take risks, and the tolerance for learn from his mistakes throughout his career.
While we put all our effort into Fashionising, our other initiatives such as style spy continue to tick over and play their part in the emerging world of social fashion.

Counterfeit designer handbags, perfume, and clothing are common products that are sometimes copied with such precision that it's hard to tell the difference from the originals.
There are, however, some shockingly bad replicas that seem to make no attempt at sounding authentic.
With the addition of just one letter, a classic timeless brand like Chanel, which conjures images of iconic fashion trends, can be turned into, well, a Channel.
The copy of J-Lo's 'Glow', 'Show', just doesn't quite have the same ring to it. Nor does 'Blue Safe', the fake version of 'Cool Water'.

Ever since I remember, I have this love for fashion, beautiful things. For me fashion is Art, and as it I have great respect for those who chose to work with it. My love for fashion made me realise that I had another love - photography. So I started looking around on the internet, reading magazines, going to shops, just to see fashion. In this search for information I found the Sartorialist. Immediately I feel in love with him. He has a view on fashion that I share.
In his biography he says: "I started The Sartorialist simply to share photos of people that I saw on the streets of New York that I thought looked great. When I worked in the fashion industry (15 years), I always felt that there was a disconnect between what I was selling in the showroom and what I was seeing real people (really cool people) wearing in real life." This is so true! In fashion shows we see a lot of great beautiful things that we will never use in real life. Only a few of us can really wear those clothes, like artists. So in his blog he brings us the look of those people blessed with what call fashion wisdom. There are people from a lot of places with different looks, but in all of them we can see an attitude, a will to be unique. For me that's very very important. Just think in Anna Piaggi (Vogue Italy), she is the One with her very own style, you can love it or hate it, but you always have to look and agree that she is unique. Just like Madonna, she knows how to recreate her self.
With a design philosophy that 'menswear can be exciting, colorful and handsome,' it's no wonder the design duo behind label Duckie Brown are being noticed in a big way. Fashion Windows reports,
"Steven Cox and Daniel Silver earned another kudos for their menswear label 'Duckie Brown' for their nomination as 2007 CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year Award.Nominated last year for the CFDA Perry Ellis New Menswear Award, garnering recognition for one of CFDA's highest honors is a natural progression of things. The amazing part is that the design duo, one a Tommy Hilfiger vet and the other a former TV producer reached the top within five years after they launched their label.
Still, for fashion observers, it was never a matter of 'IF' but only a matter of 'WHEN' for their peers to recognize the design talents of Steven Cox and Daniel Silver. Their unique vision for men's dressing that borders on 'street wear and the classic' has a very fashion forward attitude that are aspirational."
An Interview with Lloyd Boston - Style editor on the Today show, spokesperson for Jones New York and author and illustrator of Before You Put That On: 365 Daily Tips for Her.
What are some must-haves for spring?
A great trench in a statement-making fabric or color is a key item this season. Jones New York has a fabulous metallic trench, but you can also find styles in slick synthetics like patent leather or even white linen in most stores. It will add impact to any closet.
I also love the clutch bag as an alternative to the 30-gallon hobo bag women have been toting around. A long and lean style, whether it's vintage or brand new, looks ladylike, and it will force you to pare down the amount of junk you carry around.
Coco Chanel said it best: "Take one thing off before you leave the house." Women tend to over-accessorize. Part of it is emotional clutter - the bracelet you got for your anniversary, the ring you got for your birthday. And then there are the trends piled high on top of that. Keep things clean and understated.
Women tend to try and get dressed up every single day. You can't look superstylish every day of the year. It's exhausting, and it will start to reflect in your appearance. Take the day off and sport jeans or go without makeup for the day. Dressing up will start to feel special again.
