We already have two versions of scrabble at home – the traditional foldout version and a the much more appropriately up to date iPad edition. This new set, dubbed the “Vintage Edition, is something completely out of either league. It is a re-imagining of what the game should’ve been – the case is beautifully crafted from hardwood with metal accenting, the game board itself features a raised grid which may be rotated towards each player. As a christmas gift it would be the delight or envy of any logophile.

So what it really comes down to is how much is a logophile really worth? Sadly only 15 points. You can get your hands on it at restoration hardware for $159.
