Hosting or attending a Christmas party this year? If it’s the former you’ll undoubtedly want to impress. If it’s the latter you’ll naturally want to take your host a gift. Irrespective of which it is, as a fashioniser you’ll be on the look out for that something special. And should it be alcohol that you’re looking for Vivienne Westwood‘s collaboration with Chivas Regal Scotch whisky may just be it.
While drink and fashion collaborations aren’t uncommon (there’s a gifted Evian by Christian Lacroix sitting a few feet from me, and Chivas Regal themselves have previously done a collaboration with the late Alexander McQueen), Westwood’s work for the whiskey producers would appear to differ in that it her design isn’t a part of the bottle, but a distinct adornment.
The limited edition of Chivas Regal 18 will sell for around the 200 Euro mark, and will be available for Christmas 2010 and into the new year.
