New faces get scouted and ambitious applicants get signed to model agencies every day of the week. For some it’s a matter of indulging in curiousity, to see what the modelling world is all about and see if they have what it takes to make it. Some are just drifting down that path, enjoying the journey while it lasts but not tied to any particular future. For others, its a lifelong dream realised. Some will rise up and become internationally known, others will stay close to home and diversify their lives and their talents into different things. All of them will work hard.

Like a new crop of flowers in a garden they pop up into the agency books on pages we love catching a glipse of. Today we get an introduction to 5 new faces from London Management: Elly B (who already has some high fashion experience under her belt), Amy Pollock, Alex Klages, Ellie Coker and Brooke Meredith. As for the agency itself, don’t take the name too literally: London Management is an Australian model agency who have offices in both Melbourne and Sydney.

Building on their experience in front of a camera and showcasing themselves to the world, these 5 models posed for the lens of photographer David Higgs in a shoot for Fashionising.com. Higgs’ black and white photography brings out key features – eyes, lips, cheekbones – and is finished with light bleeds that soak some colour through the images. These add a layer of vintage nostalgia, the kind the zeitgeist – spurred on by the likes of Instagram and Hipstamatic – is so enamoured by, and a trend Higgs specifically wanted to capture.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
