What is it that makes a model suddenly catapult into the spotlight and leave an impression on fashion’s collective psyche? Most often, if it’s not some notoriety, it’s some distinguishing feature that makes them stick in our minds. Beauty can be a sort of uniformity that’s both characteristic of and central to any model’s success, hence it is that a hairstyle often becomes that defining point; that distinguishing feature. Arizona Muse may have a winning combination of classic looks and a super-cool name, but it’s that bob – both on-trend as a 2011 hairstyle and so flattering to her features regardless – that’s really helped her stick.

That very bob gets a slick, modern outing for Gravure’s fifth issue, in a shoot by Tiago Molinos.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
