While I couldn’t pinpoint the precise moment that fashion and fetish overlapped and became inextricably linked, it’s fair to say that, since it happened, things have been that way ever since. And while many of the pieces in this shoot by Caitlin Mitchell would best be kept for the boudoir – or for one’s ‘private obsession’ as the shoot’s title suggests – there are leather harnesses and cuffs that would also, with some imaginative styling, translate rather well to day wear.
