This editorial of Abbey Lee Kershaw is somewhat captivating. It's not the nudity (because what shoot these days doesn't show some skin?); it's not the styling (though, personally, I love the styling, especially the prominent use of thigh high boots). It's more the concept, the strange, puppet-like poses that give Abbey Lee a robotic feel, the dystopian vision that the metalic bindings and Rodarte pieces create and yet all against the contrastingly light, bright, painted backdrop. Over-analysing? Maybe. But I still think it's worth a look.
