After a swim

For everyone who’s currently in a heated room, bad news is that this editorial might make you green with envy. But good news is that you have the deliciousness of summer to dream about.

This swimsuit shoot, featuring Polish beauty Anna Zasada, screams adventure in the sun and sand. The wistful black and white photography gives the impression of nostalgia at first, but the swimsuit designs draw a contrast. The daring necklines and midriff-exposing cutouts, set against sandy beach rocks, is a reminder of what summer seduction truly entails. Zasada has freshly returned from her swim, as understood by her clingy wet hair, and she’s on a mission to avail from her desirability. Summer lovin’, indeed.

It also wouldn’t be a complete fashion spread if a few out-of-place accessories weren’t thrown in. No one’s complaining as the cat eye sunglasses and solid brass jewellery are an absolute standout.

Shitika Anand is a freelance journalist, based in Sydney, who is addicted to coffee, vintage boutiques, bright-glitzy earrings and British stand-up comedy. Her bank account weeps every time she walks out of a shoe shop, but her shoe rack throws a 'welcome home' party for the new member. Her undying love for words is obvious when she narrates her entire life story to a stranger on the train. Which is partly the reason she's resorted to writing. When not blogging, she can be found in a corner of her nearest bookshop, hiding under a monstrous pile of international fashion magazines.
