The evolution of men’s fashion is so slow that even when we peg a trend as relevant to a season as far out as spring 2012 it’s inevitable that you’ll begin to see it worn in the present. So it is that the men’s relaxed tailoring trend hits the streets well ahead of next year’s spring and the coming fall 2011 fashion season that will begin to shape it.

Street style guru Wayne Tippetts snapped the above look in Paris recently. True to the relaxing of men’s tailoring, the chap’s trousers feature an overall loose cut – something that is a a marked distinction between the relaxed trend and the current season’s flared trend.
