All decked out in denim: making it work

Any fashionising.com reader will know that double denim is not one of our favourite looks. Some interpretations are far more acceptable than others, however, and occasions do arise where we will let a bit of double denim slide. The general rule is to avoid the matching-jeans-and-jacket combinations and go for contrasting styles, shades and textures; some heavyweight denim and some chambray, a light and a dark… Charley 5.0 do just that in their SS2011 look book and its one interpretations where double denim actually works.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person.
