Ok, so it’s not the worst example of double denim we’ve seen this year. But we’re pretty sure that’s mostly due to model Amber Valletta working some kind of extra-special magic that mere mortals could not accomplish. So, we wouldn’t recommend trying this one at home. Another shot from the same editorial has Amber in another denim shirt but with leather skinny pants – a much better combination if you’re out to avoid the double-denim look.
There’s also some accentuated shoulders, and lots of studs; a reference to the fetish trend that’s found its way into much denim in 2009.
