With the landslide of non-expressive photo shoots being thrown in the fashion bag, it’s rather refreshing to see Arizona Muse‘s beaming smile and natural aura. The Vogue Korea editorial lets Muse enjoy a model downtime, if such a thing exists. No stern hairdo and no ankle-aching heels.
The chemistry between Victor Demarchelier’s camera lens and Muse is so relaxed and graceful that you’d almost mistake them for test shots. Plus, the careless windswept hair plays a very important character.
The surreal black and white photography with a pop of mustard, lime green and pink outstrip the monotonous skyline. It’s hard not to admire the chunky bracelets, neckpieces and statement rings over the lacy lingerie and fur throw. But, it’s Arizona Muse. Her unapologetic gaze even makes the vintage pieces look unsubstantial.
