Battling for the ankle

Strappy sandals that entwine the leg, Roman style, and capri pants. These are two things you might not think would go together well, given that the former ends up covering the otherwise revealed ankle that peeps out from beneath the pant cuff. But, as this photo shows, the two items can successfully work in harmony.

And as a reminder of the versatility of a good cropped pant – for the colder weather you can also brave them with boots.
