Bellechasse are something of an Australian answer to the UK’s Agent Provocateur or Lascivious. They’re all the kind of brands where fashion and fetish and lingerie and luxury all tangle together into one intoxicating blend; where underwear begs to become outerwear, too good to remain covered.
Peter Coulson shot this campaign for Bellechasse which plays to that desire to liberate your lingerie out into the openness. Model Teisha Lowry poses daringly in corners of Melbourne that could easily – especially in Coulson’s beautiful black and white shots – pass for one of Europe’s great cities. From rooftop carparks to laneways and arcades, passers by seem strangely oblivious to the scantily clad perfection on bold display before them.
Whether on display or not, though, this is the type of luxury lingerie that feels good to wear – even when no-one is looking.
