As well as their online store (betts.com.au), Betts have 110 retail spaces Australia-wide – the shelves of which are lined with footwear in all the latest on-trend styles. For autumn 2011 that means everything from Western-inspired shearling boots through to Mad Men-esque peep toe heels. But for the Betts customer it’s not just about having the latest styles, it’s about a balance between quality and price point that means the shoes are just right for everyday wear. As National Marketing Manager, Gino Premici, explains the aim is “to create a collection that not only appeals to our diverse customer base, but is aspirational, of a great quality standard and represents true value for money.”
The colour palette on the autumn 2011 range is utterly classic: a slim-heeled ankle boot in nude suede, a patent wedge in ruby red, chocolate brown leather brogues, a classic leopard-print pump… but that doesn’t mean it’s not also full of the modern. For the more daring there’s the lace-up thigh high or a chunky combat boot. For the men it’s all about military and country styles. For either gender one thing is clear: Betts have every winter style covered.
