Blake Lively‘s fashion choices often pale in comparison to the daring outfits of her co-star Leighton Meester; but not so at the HBO Emmy Awards after-party, where Lively donned an uber-sexy Balmain ‘Paillette’ dress with plunging neckline and shoulder pads.

Lively paired the dress – which first hit the runway as part of Balmain’s Autumn(Fall)/Winter 2009 collection – with Jimmy Choo ‘Private’ heels (a nice simple choice which doesn’t detract from the head-turning dress) and some bold emerald statement jewellery.
