V Magazine’s “The Model Issue” would hardly be complete without a few beauties of Victoria’s Secret fame spreading their wings within its pages. Candice Swanepoel appears in the shoot Ski Bunny which ventures into the potentially disastrous territory of Pamela Anderson-esque blonde bouncy hair and red hot pants, paired with (the very practical ensemble of) white patent knee-high boots and fluffy white faux fur. But this is a shoot that doesn’t take itself too seriously. This is ski bunny by the definition of ladies of leisure, trophy wives and barbie dolls, and Candice pulls it off with a retro kind of flair. One shot seems to tip its hat to Farrah Fawcett with flicked out curls and tanned skin, a white turtleneck and red fur-lined hood.
